We have hired Brownlie Woodworks Limited to complete two large jobs at our Georgian Grade II listed property in Dawlish.

The first was in 2018 when Dave and his team completely renovated our wooden frame conservatory. He worked on the project during the Autumn period and the project was a huge success. “From a very short lead in time, Dave and his colleague started and finished a 36 sq metre timber framed first floor extension in six weeks! And I mean finished. The carpet was laid on the first day of week 7.

They stayed on and have fabricated and erected the best balustrade in Devon, along with all sorts of ancillary extras that were thrown at them, all of which were accepted and executed with aplomb.

Our initial order from Brownlie Woodworks a number of years ago, was for a custom bookcase and cabinet to fit into a chimney corner with a slanting upper side. There was no way that a normal furniture store could have provided an satisfactory solution. Because we were very pleased with the result, which was to a very high standard of finish, we have had further custom cabinets made.
